Return Line Item Description in Transaction Saved Search

We have a situation where the same item is selected multiple times on an order, and the description for that item is edited on the fly on the transaction. So, line 1 might be Item X, Description: Sterling Silver Bracelet. Line 2 might be Item X, Description: 14k 18" Necklace.

We are trying to run a search that will return the description that was entered on the transaction, not the description that is saved on the item record. Is this possible? Maybe with formulas? It does not appear possible with line system notes.
