Saved search with Columns by Period - rolling
Hello,
I'm trying to build a save search with columns by period. I haven't gotten this to work very well. I can do a static saved search by period doing:
Sum DECODE({postingperiod},'Oct 2009',{amount},0)
but how do I make this dynamic? For example doing a rolling one year saved search? If it is some date logic, then how do I update the column labels to reflect the new month being added to my report in the following month?
Not sure if I'm making sense.
