Need a search to report on GL impact of a sale

I need a search that accurately reports the cost of an item sold, by transaction; I cannot find a way to get to the true cost price of the item, only an average cost price and last purchase price.

What is needed:

Criteria
Type: is sales order
Status: is sales order: billed
Account: is [Ledger Number] Sales
Date: within previous month

Results
Sales order number
Amount sold
Quantity sold
** Cost per item sold as per COGS account applied to that sale / GL impact

It is that last results line where I cannot find a way for NS to report!
