SQL in saved search to rank results

edited Jan 3, 2020 12:29AM in Search / Reporting 2 comments

I am grouping a saved search by employee and I have 10 different columns in the search. An example of one of the columns is below.

CASE WHEN  {classnohierarchy} = 'Apple Specific Accessories' AND {account.internalid} NOT IN( '768') THEN {amount} ELSE 0 END

What I would like to do is display the employees rank (some will be in ascending order, others in descending order) for this particular column instead of the amount.

The rank function (from the function drop down box) does work but I don't see how to reverse the order and, more importantly, I won't be able to use this result in another column unless I know the formula behind it).

Howdy, Stranger!
