When does "Date of Last Order" populate?

edited Jan 3, 2020 12:28AM in Search / Reporting

Trying to build a search, and one of my criteria is "Date of Last Order" = Today. In testing, however, I've found that if I put a test order in, the "date of last order" field doesn't seem to update. The status of the Sales Order does not seem to matter. Is something which occurs on a schedule, like a mass update? If I run a customer search with simply that criteria, I do get some results, but not my test order which I've just put in.

I really just want to understand how that field is updated to make sure I'm using it correctly in my search.

Howdy, Stranger!
