Using RANK within a CASE statement in a formula.
I new to saved searches, but I have lots of SQL experience. I'm hoping someone can help!
I'm reporting on Item Groups. The users want to see a single line for each group with the child items in columns. I was thinking the best way to do this is to do a CASE statement and use RANK to sort on the child item numbers. The lowest number would = 1. I can then use the CASE to parse this out for the first column. The issues that I'm having is that we use the item Name for our part number (so it's not numeric) and I can't get the grouping part of my RANK to group on
