Class empty - not showing

We're just implementing the CRM+ functionalty of Netsuite and are baffled by a reporting quirk.

We have classes enabled and if a class is not choosen on an opportunity it will not show up in Opportunity reports.  Searches are fine but opoortunities to close and such only show opportunties with classes.

Anyone know if we might be doing something wrong?   Or is it a bug or ?
