Transaction Search Returning Multiple Results Per Line

edited Jan 3, 2020 12:27AM in Search / Reporting 5 comments

I'm trying to build a Transfer Order search, and group it by item. For some reason, I'm getting multiple results for each line item, and I can't figure out what's going on.

My Criteria is as follows:
Main Line = F
Type = TO
Item : Type = Inventory Item

In my results I'm grouping by Item, and Summing the Quantity. Took out all of my other fields to make sure that wasn't a problem, but I'm still getting too many results. At first glance, it looks like with the positive and negative quantities it ends up working out ok when I summarize it, but without understanding why this is happening I'm not sure this will always hold true.

Howdy, Stranger!
