Reporting components in Sales by Item Report

Hi All,

First thread!

Trying to generate a sales by item report that will also include the quantity of component items for assemblies/bill of materials.

I scoured the reporting - is this truly not an available function?

Any successful work arounds out there that will give me what I need?
