Standard sales reports inaccurately reporting credit memos with discount item lines

edited Jan 3, 2020 12:26AM in Search / Reporting

All:

I've discovered a bug in NetSuite (for which a defect is already filed, #342697) that I thought it important to share because it could affect many NetSuite users.

If you create a credit memo in NetSuite with multiple lines, and all of the lines are "discount item" type items, then only the first line will show in NetSuite's standard sales reports. For example, we use a discount item called "Rebates and Allowances Credit." Sometimes our sales people will create a credit memo for a customer with multiple rebates and allowance credit lines. If the first line is for $50 and the second line is for $10,000, a standard NetSuite sales report will only show a $50 credit for the customer for that transaction.

Howdy, Stranger!
