Issue with getting customer's overdue balance

I'm trying to get access to the customers overdue balance from webservices.  It works but seems to bring back the wrong amount!  Any customer I retrieve seems to have the same amount of: 

field: overdueBalance 11445.9 Double


Anyone else using this field or has seen this issue?
