Error setting contact email addresses with apostrophes via Web Service
I also entered a case for this (497972), but wondered if anyone else noticed that attempting to update or add a Contact with an email address containing an apostrophe causes an error. Manually entering that same email address, apostrophe and all, by logging into the NetSuite application and using the contact entry form causes no problems. This problem seems to be limited to the web service.
1. Via the web service (version 2.5 wsdl), attempt to update a contact's email address to anything containing an apostrophe (e.g. jack.o'neil@somefakedomain.com) using the "update" method.
2. The web service update operation fails, returning the error "You have entered an Invalid Field Value
