setting free-form state in address
Hello,
I am trying to set free-form state values in address.state field so that we can have international addresses. I enabled
the setting in Setup > General Preferences > Allow Free-Form States in Addresses box. It now allows me to enter any text in the state box (it was a
dropdown before). But when I try to set the state from webservice, I cant seem to figure out a way as I am getting compilation errors in c# since state field only takes state enums.
failing line:
address.state = mydatareader["fldState"].ToString();
error:
Cannot impicitly convert type 'string' to 'NSclass.com.netsuite.webservice.state'
