Updating custom records through webservices

edited Dec 2, 2019 3:13PM in SuiteCloud / Customization 3 comments

Hi,

I am looking at updating a custom record by fetching data from another source.

I created a customer record type 'Phone' and tried to create a record of custom type. It has fileds of type, String, long and date.

Gives error "The specified custom field key is missing." this error goes away when myCR.setCustomFieldList(myCFL); is commented
We could create an empy custom record when CustomeFieldList is not set.

Error "You do not have permissions to set a value for element name due to one of the following reasons: 1) The field is read-only; 2) An associated feature is disabled; 3) The field is available either when a record is created or updated, but not in both cases."

Howdy, Stranger!
