getting tranID just after add

Hi,

I remember seeing this somewhere but I just couldn't find it. Sorry if it is a repeat post.

After I add a transaction, I can get its internal ID

 ((RecordRef)writeResponse.baseRef).internalId;


Is there any easy way to get the tran ID (PO#, SO#, invoice# etc) right after I add it without doing a search with that internal ID?
