Problem With Invoice Updation

Hi All ,

We are updating few header fields like tranid and two custom field's using Webservices for Invoices and we are not disturbing any Linelevel details .Few records got processed but suddenly we are facing Error like

"An unexpected error occurred.This invoice has payments applied to it.  Are you sure you want to edit it?"

Can anyone Please HelpUs in this issue ,its really an urgent task for us.
