Using Server SuiteScripts with Web Services

Is it possible to trigger a Server SuiteScript on a record created/edited by Web Services?

In this instance, I need a SuiteScript to run on an Inventory Adjustment record whenever it is created by Web Services. The SS will set/change the Adjustment Account based on a custom field (Inventory Adjustment Type).

If so, how is this done?
