Single Sign On? Does Netsuite support SAML?

Was looking at Google Apps corporate edition today and got sidetracked into thinking about how my users would deal with having to remember a Username and password for Active Directory Sign on as well as a Netsuite Logon and a google apps logon.

I noticed that Google Apps supports Single Sign On (SSO) via an API and it seems that a whole cottage industry has built up around providing SSO to Google Apps corporate users.

It appears that the technology being used is an internet protocol called SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) which if the web application supports it can allow synchronisation between the web app and AD or LDAP. Google Apps supports SAML - All good. Then I found a provider who claims to provide SSO to Salesforce.com using exactly the same method. See
