User Role Change for Webservices

Hi,
    During some recent PHP NS webservice development, my team observed following glitch related to user rights issue.

Following are the steps.

1) User login in NS webservices through our system .
2) Some one changes the user role webservices rights from 'full' to 'view' on Netsuite WebSite.
3) Logged in user edits a customer through our system successfully.

Ideally user should not be able to edit because the user rights were just changed.

Has Any body else experienced this behaviour?
Does User Role rights changes in the website take some time to effect Netsuite webservice operations?
