referring to a custom field in C#

Hi all,

Can someone give me a tip? I do not know how/where to code the line.

I want to code a line of C# so it will input a value in a custom transaction body field that I just created. I tried many times, but I an error saying the custom field is not in the definition.


for example:

custPayment.the_new_customField = myString[0];
