upsert Employee gives error RCRD_DSNT_EXIST with phantom internalId/externalId
I am trying to upsert an Employee record using SuiteTalk. I am using the PHP toolkit. I have been able to insert/update/upsert many different types of records successfully, but I am having a problem with some Employee records.
This is an example request:
