Support for Defect 295754 - WS > Slow performance when invoking update

I am looking to drum up some support/attention for Defect 295754 which is identified as causing web services updates to sales orders to take 15-40 seconds each. I see a lot of chatter about web services call processing being very slow since around May and that has certainly been the case for us. It is becoming a weekly crisis in terms of getting orders through the system and product shipped to our customers. For those of you experiencing the same, I would encourage you to open up support cases and reference this defect.
