Returning Formula Columns with Web Service Advanced Saved Search

Hello everyone.  I've been reading up on threads that many folks are having same issues where Formula column values are not being returned. I have a need to do this and based on my tests, it seems like as of 2014v2, it is STILL NOT working. 

Has anyone found a work around for this outside of using RESTLets?
