Items excluded from saved search still come across in response XML

edited Dec 2, 2019 2:59PM in SuiteCloud / Customization

Hi All

I'm the lead developer for a SuiteApp which is basically an integration between NetSuite and our system, which is a WMS. We pull data using SuiteTalk based on saved searches. My question is around how SuiteTalk handles saved searches in terms of adhering to criteria & filters.

We have a saved search which brings back Sales Orders, and excludes certain items from the Sales Order lines, for example subtotals and packaging material. However when we query the saved search from our integration, the response XML still has those lines. What we'd like is for those lines to not come across in the XML.
