Sandbox Tokens Automatically Updating Production Tokens

We currently use Token-Based Authentication and we have a Sandbox account. We noticed that when we Reset the credentials on an Integration in Sandbox to get new Token values, it also resets the tokens in Production and vice-versa.

Is this how it is supposed to work? It doesn't seem like it. I would think the Resetting the tokens in Sandbox would have no affect on production. We just started noticing this and may be related to the new release.
