NS not parsing HTML tags in Custom Fields

in Web Site / E-Commerce

Greetings,

I have created a custom field (text area) in which I have entered text along with <a href... tags for links to be shown on the web site. however, when i pull that field into the site, it doesnt show the link but the code surronding the text.

any ideas?
