Web DNS and Email

Hi, I'm setting up a customers website in Netsuite.  However I wanted to check if I change the dns for their url to point to Netsuite is that going to affect their email address' using the same domain? 

Can they have their website hosted by Netsuite and their email address' hosted by a third party provider both using the same domain name?
