Search on Sku #

It seems the sku # is not included in the search on the web store. I found you can add the sku # to the Search Keywords field and the search will find the item record.

Am I correct that the sku # is not include in the search if it is not in the the decription fields or the Search Keyword field?

Would be nice if the sku # was auto matically included in the search.
