Shipping cost estimator appears incorrect
We recently added the shipping cost estimator tool on our view cart page. We use UPS integrated real-time rates with no discount % to bill our customers shipping charges. In testing the estimate tool (pre-checkout) versus the actual Sales Order/Checkout, the estimator tool is giving different results - usually lower shipping costs. For instance to ship a 1 lb package from GA (our location) to GA the estimator tool says $4.15 but when you proceed through checkout the acutal cost is $6.70 (a 50% error rate). This could cause customer dissatisfaction or abandonment if the variance is large enough.
Anyone have this problem or insights into how to correct this?
