Google Base nee Froogle 5 new attributes

edited Apr 1, 2008 11:19AM in Web Site / E-Commerce 4 comments

Google converted their Froogle product over to Google Base last summer 2006.    NetSuite still references it as Froogle.    2 weeks ago Google announced that Google Base uploads will now require 5 more new attributes in addition to the current ones that Netsuite outputs [with wrong header info].
By end Feb all Base uploads will require the new attributes.

It's not too much trouble to use Netsuite to output the basic Google Base attributes and then manually add the 5 new requirements - took me about an hour of typing and formatting - but wouldn't it be nice if Netsuite kept pace with upgrades and changes on existing services rather than spending so much time introducing new features [like ebay] that are barely functional. [although premium fees always get charged on the new features, got to chase that cash flow.]

Howdy, Stranger!
