Errors with IE7 when our customers submit orders

This problem only happens when using Internet Explorer 7 (links are screen shots of what the pages look like in IE7)
The customer hits the submit order button on the following page
and it brings them to a blank page that is suppose to confirm their order
when they press the back button it brings the customer to a page that says their cart is empty

The order does get placed and we receive it and we are able to complete the order but it is confusing to our customers who use IE7. Anyone know why IE7 would be acting differently than other browsers?
