Suppress Item Weight?

Nevermind, saw the other thread a few pages back. Will try that and repost if can't edit the JSP to work right.

We have a number of hardware products available in our store as inventory items, together with non-inventory software products (simply available for download, and therefore requiring no shipping).

Is there any way to suppress the display of the weight of the hardware?  I still want it "behind the scenes" so that shipping is calculated correctly, but I don't want it to display on the actual product page. 

I'm thinking sort of an if-then statement. "If item name contains ____, suppress weight."  Anyone know of a way to do this?
