<NLGLOBALSEARCHFORMHTML> No longer works?

I'm trying my hardest to get netsuite's site search to search both items and hosted html documents.  Does "<NLGLOBALSEARCHFORMHTML>" not work any more?  Am I going about this all the wrong way?  Please help me!
