Alert when customer makes a payment online via the Customer Center

I would like to set up a transaction saved search alert when a customer logs into their account via the Customer Center and makes a payment for an open invoice.  I have setup other saved search alerts, so I know it would be possible.  Has anyone set this up, and if so, what criteria did you use?
