Order Confirmation Number Format

Hi all,

I am testing out my Order Confirmation Emails and customizing them as necessary. 

For some reason, my order CONFIRMATION number shows up as 99268-XXX (with XXX being the order number as shown in my Netsuite backend). 

Does anybody know where this 99268 comes from?  Is it possible to omit this number and just use the last XXX so its consistent with the Netsuite backened?  i.e. Global Search can search via Order Number but not via Confirmation Number.

How does everybody else handle this?
