Promo code % discount w/ a cap?

Is there anyway that a Promo code can have a cap?  Say for instance I want to send out a promo code that offers 10% off discount to return customers (via web or phone).  We sell a lot of BIG ticket items (custom buildings and the such) and we need to be able to cap the discount so it never goes past $100.  This way we're not giving someone thousands of dollars b/c of a promo code.  Anyone have any insight to this?
