Layouts not applying to categories

I've changed the templates and layouts for two categories/tabs as we move into our new site theme. However, NetSuite will not change over the layouts to the new one's assigned. I've checked the progression from template to layout to category to ensure everything is linked properly and it appears as if everything is fine. As anyone else been experiencing problems with layouts not changing on their categories or tabs?
