Upsell Items don't show description

When we have upsell items. When we click on the button for Upsell to display, the items we see do not show the description on the list of available upsell items. How can we get the description to display? You can imagine if you have 15 numbers that are all 100-100-2250-0098 or something like that, and trying to figure out which is which. That takes remembering what all the inventory items are by number. Not too realistic if you ask me.

I could have done something wrong, but I don't think so. If you know what I am referring to and have a solution, please reply to this post. Thanks!
