Checkout amounts, VAT - Problem.

Ok i know the whole promotion codes thing does not work properly and is due to be fixed in 2008 but i've noticed another issue.

Have an item set up so the total price is £70.26. Apply a huge discount code on checkout to reduce this to £3.51. Now when order is submitted the following screen appears:



Now it seems that the total amount has not been discounted and VAT has been calculated on the discounted amount of £3.51 when i wasn;t expecting VAT to be added after checkout at all

Now the user recieves an email with the same information.

It seems that the checkout process does not calculate and display values correctly??
