Multiple Sites - Categories

We currently have three web stores and our items are supposed to be available in each store.  We are finding that that is not the case with all items.  Does anyone know of a report or a search that would tell me which categories our items are in?  I can do a simple search that will tell me the first category but that does not help.  We have over 11,000 items so we cannot manually check each one.  Tech support cannot figure it out.....no surprise there.
