Number of Rows Item/Category Layout

In Setup>Web Site>Item/Category Layouts - The Field Help on the 'Number of Rows' option states that you can choose No Limit or the number of rows you want to appear in your Web store or site."

If I go to create a new layout, I have a choice between 1 and 50; "no limit" is not an option.

Is something wrong with the Field Help, or am I missing something?
