Modifying Entity Fields in Customer Center - Can it be Done????

edited Oct 30, 2008 2:01PM in Web Site / E-Commerce 2 comments

Two of the custom entity fields we use are called "Occupation" and "Practice Setting."   Because we operate in the healthcare field, these things can change for customers, ie, they could move from a hospital to a private practice or a retail pharmacy setting.  We'd originally set this up assuming (stupidly) that the customers could come back to the customer center and edit these at a later data.  This is imperative for us in how we slice and dice our data and as customers change roles or practice settings, we need to know this.

Unfortunately, as of a recent hour-long phone call with NS, I found out, yet again, that this is something that NS is incapable of doing.  The customer has no access to these fields when they log back into the customer center.  The only time a customer can modify or change these is upon the first registration screen.

Howdy, Stranger!
