Website Upsell items not adding to cart

I don't know when it started, but we were recently alerted to a problem with being able to add items to the shopping cart from the upsell lists on the View Cart page.  When clicking the Add to Cart button on one of the items showing below the cart, nothing happened.
We have for now turned the feature off until we can determine the cause.  Is anyone else having a problem with this?
