Help with spacing, browser differences

View that page in both Firefox and IE and you should see that there is an extra 3 pixels of whitespace at the top... where is this coming from? I want to make a new front page and need to get rid of this margin/padding/spacing/whatever. Here's the area of code as shown by firefox view source:
