On line form that enters customer into a drawing

Our marketing department wants to have an on-line form that, when submitted by the customer, enters them into an drawing for a gas card. 

Creating the on-line form is no problem but I am not sure how to handle entering the respondents into a drawing.

Has anyone done something like this before or have any suggestions on the simpliest way to handle this process?
