Release 2008.2 Custom Fields (Image type) not working any more.

Before the new release (NetSuite (Edition: United States) Release 2008.2) we were using custom fields for extra images on the item template.
To display these images, we were using this:
<img src="<%= getCurrentAttribute('item', 'custitem_image1) %>" />

Now this is not working any more, instead of showing the url it just shows the file name. (e.g image1.jpg)

What is the the new tag for the url?
