Website Tag for Vendor

I've noticed that NetSuite uses Vendors and Manufacturers quite differently.

We purchase our products from Vendors, reselling them, while they have their own Manufacturers for their products.

As such, we like to inform customers of the Vendor that provided the item, so we were looking to embed a website tag on the product drilldown page that would embed the preferred Vendor.

Unfortunately, that seems impossible. It's possible for Manufacturers, but since we'll be creating Purchase Orders for the Vendors, we want to avoid having to enter information twice.

1) is it possible to create a custom website tag that will display the preferred vendor on the product drill down page?
