Payflow Pro Test mode

We are trying to test our PayFlow Pro on our newly created web store. We're using a test credit card number, found in the Payflow Pro developers guide, but we're getting this error: 
[TEST MODE] Credit Card Authorization Failure


Reason: An error occurred while processing the credit card. Please contact the merchant for assistance.

I've tried to ensure that our web store is properly set up with Payflow Pro. Does anyone have any ideas, things I can look at ,try, etc.  Any help would be much appreciated!
