Customers can't see sales orders

My customers can't see their sales orders when they login to our site.  We have our default role for new customers set to Customer Center and are using the standard (i.e., not customized) Customer Center role.  When I look at Setup>Users/Roles>Customer Center>Transactions>Sales Orders, it is set to "Edit" rights, which I think would allow the customers to see their orders.

Any ideas?
