A poor design template
Why is Netsuites templating system so half-baked and poorly realised? I have worked on a variety of systems from forums, smarty driven sites, to e-commerce sites. All systems have their quirks and varying degrees of ability.
Choosing to move my business platform to Netsuite, I made the incorrect assumption that when my sales-rep said that the website was fully customisable using templates that he didn't mean 'you can kind of customise some parts of the layout'. I assumed that Netsuite would have a template system at least as good as the cheap stand alone e-commerce systems.
It doesn't. Not even close. Not even after buying every related whistle and bell that NS had to offer for e-commerce.
